Australian Open signs Luckin Coffee agreement

The Australian Open (AO) has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Chinese coffeehouse chain Luckin Coffee, which thus comes on board as the Grand Slam’s Official Coffee Partner in China and southeast Asia.

Luckin Coffee, as per the agreement, will get virtual signage at the Australian Open, starting with its 2024 edition, and also launch a co-branded product in China and Singapore. The two will also work on giveaways throughout AO 2024.

We’re delighted to partner with Luckin Coffee – one of Asia’s dominant and fastest growing coffee retailers. Partnering with Luckin is an important and exciting next step in executing our strategy to expand the Australian Open’s presence in China and Asia more broadly, where tennis continues to grow rapidly in popularity. Both Luckin Coffee and the Australian Open embrace premium playfulness in our brands, making us a great fit.
