Esports tournament organiser BLAST has roped in Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull as the Official Energy Drink Partner of the ongoing BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, the current Counter-Strike 2 Major being held in Austin, Texas, the US.
The deal will see Red Bull have its brand and products integrated into the Austin Major through a host of elements, including both digital and physical assets in the broadcast.
Additionally, Red Bull will also sponsor the Ace broadcast segment and work on content series, which will include a “death-defying skydive over Austin.”
Red Bull will also have a booth at the Moody Center in Austin, where the event is taking place.
Leo Matlock, BLAST’s Chief Business Officer, commented:
“We’re excited to welcome Red Bull onboard for the Austin Major, injecting their energy and passion into a landmark esports event. Red Bull has long been a key player in esports, supporting multiple organisations over the years, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for fans watching the Austin Major.“
