Crystal Palace Football Club (CPFC) have announced an expansion of their partnership with open-source software platform Temporal, thus making it the front-of-matchday-shirt partner of their women’s team.

The partnership builds on Temporal’s shirt sponsorship of the Palace men’s team to now also cover Crystal Palace Women.

Temporal will also work with the South London club on content activations, which will now include Crystal Palace Women players and staff.

Paul O’Brien, Chief Commercial Officer at Crystal Palace FC, commented:

“We’re delighted that Temporal is expanding its commitment to Crystal Palace by becoming the front-of-shirt partner of our Women’s team.

“From the beginning of our relationship, Temporal has viewed its partnership with Palace as a commitment to the whole Club. This agreement is a really positive demonstration of that and comes at an exciting time for the continued development of Palace Women.

“Most importantly, there is a shared ambition for this to go beyond the logo on the shirt. We want to work closely together to understand where Temporal’s expertise and community can make a genuine contribution, whether that is helping us reach new supporters, enhancing the matchday experience or exploring how technology can support the team as we continue to grow.”

Samar Abbas, CEO and Co-Founder of Temporal, added:

“Our name now sits on the shirts worn by the men, the women and the academy, and that is the part I am most proud of, because a partnership with a club means the whole club. Temporal exists to keep the world’s most critical systems running, and the engineers who do that work start out as someone who was shown what was possible for them. Sport opens the same doors, so a young girl watching this team on the pitch is seeing exactly that, which is why we are glad to be expanding our investment in the future of Palace on every front.”
