ECB extends Sony deal

Sony India and ECB extend partnership till 2028

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has extended their broadcast partnership with Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN). The new agreement is set to run till the end of 2028.

The partnership will see Sony continue to have exclusive television and digital rights access in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar and Sri Lanka. Sony will continue to broadcast all of the English men’s and women’s international matches along with county competitions on their sports channels. The partnership will also see exclusive ECB content streamed on SonyLIV, SPN’s OTT platform.

After the conclusion of the England versus India Men’s Test series last month, there is so much fantastic cricket to look forward to over the coming years, including the Women’s series between England and India next month. I am sure fans will continue to be entertained and enthralled by the contests between our two countries.”
