i8.BET becomes the club’s Official Betting Partner in Asia.
Premier League club Everton have announced a new partnership with online gambling operator i8.BET. The partnership will see i8.BET become the Toffees’ Official Betting Partner in Asia.
As part of the deal, i8.BET will receive considerable branding at Goodison Park, on Everton’s online platforms in Asia, and gain digital rights of the club for commercial activities. i8.BET will use Everton’s brand and name during its marketing activities in Asia.
The partnership is another step for the Toffees to grow their international partnership portfolio and also break into the Asian commercial markets.
This isn’t the first time the Toffees have partnered with a gambling operator, though; the club previously had a sponsorship deal with the Liverpool-based firm SportPesa, with whom they eventually terminated their contract prematurely in February 2020 because of a change in their commercial strategy, vision and growth plans
Darren Wang, CMO at i8.BET, commented:
“In line with our global tagline of ‘Choose The Best’, we are excited to exclusively partner with such an iconic Premier League team as Everton Football Club; a partnership that will see us working with the club on a number of exciting and innovative initiatives and promotions in key brand territories in support of our ongoing brand expansion and trust building efforts.”
Everton’s other international partnerships include one with Parimatch, which is a two-year deal signed in 2020 to make the betting company the club’s Official Betting Partner in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Everton also partnered with Rushbet.co in late 2020 to break into the Colombian market.
