FIFA has announced an extension of its partnership with global payments company Visa, which will see it continue on as an Official Partner as well as the Official Payment Technology Partner of the world football-governing body until 2026.
Visa aims to “provide a seamless and secure commerce experience for FIFA’s passionate fans on-site” through the extension, which is now set to cover the 2026 World Cup and offer to the Visa card holders exclusive benefits pertaining to the quadrennial men’s football event.
