Gaël Monfils is a professional tennis player with an estimated net worth of US$10 million. Of French and Martinican descent, Monfils was a standout junior player who went pro in 2004 and achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 6 in 2016.
Monfils is a well-known yet underrated player who goes by the nickname “Sliderman” because of his remarkable aptitude for sliding strokes, especially on clay courts.
An eleven-time ATP Tour singles champion, Monfils was voted the ATP Newcomer of the Year in 2005. Some highlights of his career include three ATP Masters 1000 finals as well as semi-final appearances at two Grand Slams: the 2008 French Open and the 2016 US Open.

Before moving to Decathlon, Monfils used Wilson racquets.
A multi-year sponsorship arrangement with Monfils was reached in May 2019 by ROKiT, a multinational telecommunications firm that sells premium tech phones.
As per the deal, in addition to sporting the ROKiT logo on the court across all competitions, Monfils also appears in a variety of ROKiT marketing campaigns and events.
In March 2023, Monfils became an ambassador for California-based clothing company Dockers.
As per the deal, off the court, Dockers and Monfils work together, specialising in unique, wearable fashion that complements the latter’s active lifestyle.
In 2014, Monfils agreed to a three-year contract with luxury swiss watchmaker De Bethune. In addition to participating in the testing of De Bethune watches by providing additional performance metrics, Monfils would wear the company’s iconic coloured timepieces on the court.
In 2015, Daniel Hechter and Monfils agreed to a sponsorship agreement. The contract dictated that Monfils feature in a number of commercials for the menswear brand launched by Paris-based French fashion designer Daniel Hechter.
Fintech business eToro, which specialises in brokerage and financial services, named Monfils as a global ambassador in 2018.
Monfils was sponsored by eToro throughout the most important ATP Grand Slam competitions, including Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open, as he sported the eToro logo on his shirt. He also appeared in an eToro TV commercial.
