Hero Vired announced as Delhi Capitals official edtech partner

The Delhi Capitals have announced an agreement with Hero Group’s e-learning company, Hero Vired, making it their official edtech partner. As part of the deal, Hero Vired will associate itself with the IPL team for a one-year period.

On this partnership, Vinod Bisht, Interim CEO of Delhi Capitals said:
“We, at Delhi Capitals, are constantly learning on and off the pitch to enhance our performance and stay ahead of the competition. So, we sincerely support Hero Vired’s mission to re-imagine learning in a refreshing and innovative way. I am confident that through their support we will elevate our learning experience and prepare better for the upcoming season of the IPL.”

Hero Vired’s deal with the Delhi Capitals is the company’s second partnership in the sports industry, given it is also the official partner of LaLiga in India.

Hero Group also has a history of having sponsorship ties in the sports industry, previously having partnered with the Cricket World Cup, the Indian Tremendous League, and the Pro Kabaddi League.

While talking about the deal, Akshay Munjal, Founder and CEO of Hero Vired, said:
“People worship cricket in India, and all fans and our learners are enthusiastically looking forward to the IPL. At Hero Vired, we believe sports complement academic learning and help individuals evolve as well-rounded professionals by inculcating discipline, team spirit, tolerance, and patience among the youth. In addition, data, finance, and the adoption of digital technology in sports today is a seamless blend with what Vired has to offer, and this partnership was a no-brainer.”

Hero Vired is a subsidiary of Hero Group and is an education centre based out of New Delhi and offers an integrated programme in Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence which is designed to give individuals the right tools to become indispensable in the future that will be driven by smart technologies and predictive analytics. Hero Vired was launched in 2021, and since then it has been a game changer in the world of finance and financial technology.
