Aditya ChaudhuriViacom18-owned Indian OTT platform JioCinema has announced a partnership agreement with the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), gaining the exclusive live-streaming rights of its tenth edition in the process.
Spread over four weekends, and featuring 20 matches, the upcoming season of the amateur cricket competition is set to get underway on February 23, 2024.
Comprising eight teams representing India’s major film industries (Hindi, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam), CCL Season 10 is set to bring together over 200 film celebrities.
Speaking about the CCL agreement, Ferzad Palia, Business Head, JioCinema, said:
