1. Head
Racquet company Head and Sharapova’s relationship goes back to 2011 when she signed a multi-year endorsement deal worth US$2 million annually. Even when she was banned for using drug meldonium, Head supported her and continued the association with her which lasts till date.
2. Nike
When news of Maria’s failed drug test came in, Nike suspended its contract with the tennis player. But when things became clearer, the brand stood by her side and continued their deal. Sharapova signed an eight-year deal worth $70m with Nike in January 2010.
3. Sugarpova
Sugarpova is Maria’s very own candy business. The brand was launched in 2013 and has only grown with time. According to a recent news report, Sugarpova will be sold at more than 50,000 locations by the end of 2018. All because of deals with Kroger Co. – the biggest U.S. grocery chain and 7-Eleven – the world’s biggest convenience store chain.
4. TAG Heuer
Luxury watch brand, TAG Heuer first signed Maria Sharapova as a brand ambassador in 2004. At the time when she was banned from playing tennis, the brand ditched her as an endorser. But according to Maria’s website, Tag Heuer and Maria are still partners.
5. Porche
Maria first signed an endorsement deal with Porche in 2012. The brand withdrew support from her when she was found guilty of taking drug meldonium. The current status of their association is still not very clear.
7. Evian
This is one of the brands that openly supported Maria during the tough days of her life. Even when she was banned, the brand launched a promotional video featuring her.
8. Sugargoop
Maria is not just an endorser of the brand, she is also co-owns it along with Holly Thaggard.
Avon
Avon signed Sharapova in 2014 to promote its variant – Luck. In 2016 the deal came to an end. The brand insisted that it was not because of the band imposed on her.
