Liverpool FC and Cadbury extend partnership to continue supporting local community

English professional football club Liverpool FC (LFC) and Mondel?z International’s chocolate confectionery brand Cadbury have announced an extension of their collaboration for additional three years.

As part of the new agreement, the two parties will continue to support local people and businesses. Cadbury will continue to help the community and LFC supporters as part of the renewed partnership, with its motto being “Glass and a Half in Everyone”. In 2020, Cadbury created a limited-edition Liverpool FC Champions Dairy Milk bar to mark the start of their partnership.

Cadbury and LFC will continue to focus on growing the Liverpool FC Works Programme in the next years of the partnership extension in the hopes of aiding even more young people from the Liverpool City Region in being prepared for the workforce.

In order to build upon their existing partnership, Cadbury and LFC will continue to provide fans with bigger and better experiences as part of the extension. Cadbury will launch its biggest ticket giveaway ever in August, offering Liverpool FC supporters the chance to win thousands of prizes, including cash, tickets to games and hospitality experiences.

Ben Latty, Commercial Director, Liverpool FC, said:

I am delighted to announce the extension of our partnership with Cadbury. Cadbury has shown its commitment to providing for our local community, working closely with the LFC Foundation on the LFC Works Programme. We look forward to continuing to work together and strengthening our meaningful partnership further over the next three years.

Nick Rogers, Cadbury Marketing and Sponsorship Lead for Northern Europe at Mondel?z International, commented:

We are proud to renew our partnership with Liverpool FC, dedicated to equipping young people with vital employability skills. This collaboration reflects our commitment to empowering the next generation. Cadbury employees are driven by generosity, and over the years have mentored members of the Liverpool community to help them find employment. Together, we hope to create more opportunities for the local communities to thrive, which allows us to reaffirm Cadbury’s dedication to making a positive difference.
