Fantasy sports platform announced as the new IPL team’s Official Title Sponsor.

Games24x7’s fantasy gaming platform My11Cricle has been unveiled as the Official Title Sponsor of the new Lucknow-based IPL team after signing a three-year partnership with the franchise. The deal is reportedly worth INR 23 crore per year.

The partnership will see the My11Circle logo feature on the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group-owned Lucknow team jersey along with gaining exclusive rights to the team’s digital assets.

Bhavin Pandya, Co-Founder and CEO Games24x7, commented on the partnership, stating:

We are excited to announce our first IPL team sponsorship and the Lucknow team is a perfect fit as it represents the heartland of the country where cricket fans have ardently supported the sport and now get an opportunity to support their own team. We believe that this partnership will further strengthen our engagement with millions of cricket fans across India.

Raghu Iyer, CEO, RPSG Sports, added:

We are delighted to have My11Circle as our Principal Team Sponsor. We thank them for the faith they have shown in our new franchise and are confident that this will be a winning partnership.

One of the two new teams in the league along with the Ahmedabad franchise, the Lucknow team has signed former Zimbabwean batter Andy Flower as its Head Coach and former India great Gautam Gambhir as the Mentor. Former Indian cricketer Vijay Dahiya has also been roped in as assistant coach. Although the team doesn’t have a name yet, the Lucknow franchise did recently put out a statement on its social media handles, stating that it would let the fans suggest a name for the team.

Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman, RPSG Group, stated:

We wanted to be inclusive and the idea was really to take suggestions from all fans, all stakeholders, everyone all across. This is being run online across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.
