Punjab Kings (PBKS) revealed as Powered By sponsor of Sher-E-Punjab T20 League

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Punjab Kings (PBKS) has been announced as the “Powered By” sponsor of the Sher-E-Punjab T20 League, the domestic franchise-based tournament organised by the Punjab Cricket Association. 

The Kings will work with the league to help the growth of domestic talent from Punjab and build a professional franchise ecosystem in the state.

The Sher-E-Punjab T20 League is scheduled to be held from August 30 to September 13, 2026, with six teams battling it out for the title at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

Satish Menon, CEO of the Punjab Kings, commented:

“We’ve always felt our role in Punjab goes beyond what happens on the field. This state has given Indian cricket some outstanding players, and we want to be part of making sure the next lot get the platforms and support to go all the way. Backing the Sher-e-Punjab T20 League is a real step towards that.”

With leading players and emerging talent coming together, the league can play an important role in creating a stronger and more sustainable pathway for Punjab’s cricketers.”

Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, Honorary Secretary of the Punjab Cricket Association, said:
