Manchester City Women have signed a partnership agreement with The Fold, thereby becoming the first FA Women’s Super League side to team up with a British womenswear company.
The Fold will serve as the Official Formalwear Partner of Manchester City Women, giving customers access to a variety of formalwear.
The two parties will also work together on an upcoming campaign to honour City’s players and provide women’s football with yet another platform.
Commenting on the deal, Gavin Makel, Managing Director of Manchester City Women, said:
“As a club, we are proud to be pioneers within women’s football and it is clear that the appeal of the game and Manchester City Women continues to grow.
“It’s important for our players to look and feel professional both on and off the pitch and we’re therefore delighted to welcome The Fold as an official partner.”
“The team at The Fold have impressed us with their commitment to empowering women through fashion and we look forward to working with them throughout the partnership.”
Polly McMaster, Founder and Chief Executive of The Fold, added:
“We are proud to be the official formalwear partner for Manchester City Women’s team at such a pivotal moment for women’s football.
“The Fold dresses women to achieve their ambitions; these incredible players are reaching the highest level of their sport and representing their countries.
“For their most important matches and big moments, we want them to feel confident on and off the pitch, to be at the top of their game.“
