McLaren Racing have announced a new partnership extension with multinational technology company, Cisco, who will continue on as an Official Partner for the McLaren Formula One team and also the McLaren Electric Racing team. McLaren will continue to use Cisco’s connectivity and tools for race operations and other team activities. The deal also will include cybersecurity and observability software designed to monitor systems and manage performance data along with McLaren continuing to use Cisco technology for networking, wireless systems and hybrid-work tools that support staff at the track and at its technology centre.
Nick Martin, Co-Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Racing, commented,
“We are delighted to extend and evolve our partnership with Cisco. Their technology has become integral to how we work across the team, from the factory to the track. As we explore the opportunities AI presents, Cisco will continue to be a key collaborator in helping us stay connected, secure and competitive.”
Susan Moran, President, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China, Cisco, added,
“Together, Cisco and McLaren are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Formula 1 and motorsport by combining our technologies to help the team connect, communicate and adapt in real time.
