Melbourne Renegades and Hyundai extend partnership

Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Melbourne Renegades have announced a two-year partnership extension with Hyundai Motor Company Australia, which will see the latter continue on as the Official Vehicle Partner and Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) Training Partner of the former.

Hyundai’s branding will continue to be present on the Renegades’ BBL and WBBL training kits, as well as on the Renegades WBBL team’s playing jersey.

John Kett, Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor Company Australia, said:

Hyundai is delighted to extend our partnership with the Melbourne Renegades after two highly successful seasons. Hyundai stands for innovation, progress and high performance – a vision showcased by our world-beating vehicles and very closely shared by the Renegades. We see not only the Renegades but the BBL and WBBL going from strength to strength, as the series continues to be reinvented for maximum excitement.

That is especially true of the women’s game and Hyundai Australia is proud to be part of that journey as a major sponsor of women’s sports around the country.

James Rosengarten, General Manager, Melbourne Renegades, added:

Hyundai has been a fantastic supporter of our club over the past two seasons and we are delighted to continue our journey together. It is a company that not only has a strong presence here in Victoria and across Australia but is also a global leader in its field.

“Much like our club, Hyundai has a focus on innovation and elite performance. We look forward to their continued support of our WBBL and BBL teams and our club overall.”
