Aditya ChaudhuriGlobal entertainment brand Pokémon has signed a partnership agreement with the Mumbai Indians for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Pokémon comes on board as an Official Partner of the MI men’s team. As per the deal, it will carry out fan engagement activities, which will see Pikachu in the Mumbai Indians jersey during the team’s home games, interacting with the fans and offering exclusive freebies.
An MI spokesperson commented on the deal, stating:
