National Basketball Association (NBA) extends Warner Bros. Discovery partnership

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has announced signing an eleven-year partnership extension agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery to further strengthen and extend its media ties.

As per the extended agreement, Warner Bros. Discovery will expand the partnership, “promote NBA content and will work towards accelerating the global growth and reach of TNT Sports and their sports digital brands Bleacher Report and House of Highlights.”

The NBA Digital partnership is also set to be enhanced, with Warner Bros. Discovery getting the full package of live game rights outside the US as well. Warner Bros. Discovery will be providing “broad reach, local language commentary and promotional opportunities” for NBA partners during live game telecasts in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland and, Latin America (excluding Brazil and Mexico).
