NZC partners with Virtual Eye

The New Zealand Cricket (NZC) have announced a new partnership agreement with Virtual Eye, who will join the NZC as their Official Innovation Partner. Virtual Eye, which is the sports division of Animation Research Ltd, will work with NZC on  ‘high performance analytics, broadcast innovation, and enhanced fan engagement.’ The agreement will also focus on the development of advanced sports graphics, biomechanics and conditioning tools, and data systems to enhance the board’s high performance programmes and elevate fan experiences across the globe.

Scott Weenink, Chief Executive, New Zealand Cricket, commented,

“Virtual Eye has consistently set the global benchmark in sports technology and broadcast innovation, with world-leading assets in golf (PGA Tour) and baseball (MLB), sailing (America’s Cup) and cricket. This partnership is a genuine collaboration intended to push the boundaries in performance analytics, storytelling, and fan engagement.
