Oman Cricket Sponsors 2024

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across the Oman men’s and/or women’s national cricket teams’ physical and digital assets as sponsors and partners of Oman Cricket, the country’s official cricket-governing body.

Omantel

Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) is the first telecom company in Oman and the primary provider of internet services in the country, the government of Oman currently owning a 51% share of it.

Omantel has been one of Oman Cricket’s major sponsors since 2016. 

Oman LNG

Oman LNG is an LNG plant in Qalhat near Sur, Oman. The company was established by the Royal decree of Sultan Qaboos of Oman in 1994.

Oman LNG joined hands with Oman Cricket in September 2021. 

OMiFCO

Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMiFCO) is a modern world scale two-train ammonia-urea fertiliser manufacturer.

Founded in 2011, OMiFCO has been serving as a official Oman Cricket sponsor since 2021. 

Jindal Panther Rebars

Jindal Panther Rebars is an initiative led by OP Jindal Group, an Indian multinational conglomerate. 

SOHAR Port

SOHAR Port and Freezone is a deep-sea port and adjacent free zone in the Middle East, located in Sohar, Sultanate of Oman, midway between Dubai and Muscat.

SOHAR Port joined hands with Oman Cricket in November 2021. 

Sohar Aluminium

Sohar Aluminium Company is the first Aluminium smelter in the Sultanate of Oman. Established in 2004, it is under the ownership of Oman Oil Company, the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, and Rio Tinto. 

Stassen

Stassen, a Sri Lanka-based tea company founded in 1977, joined hands with Oman Cricket in November 2022 as part of a multi-year partnership agreement. 

Oman Oasis

Established in 1994, Oman Oasis is the largest bottled water company in the Sultanate of Oman. One of the nation’s most preferred water brands, it is wholly owned by The Zubair Corporation, a diversified business group based in the Sultanate of Oman.

In February 2022, Oman Oasis came on board as the official hydration partner of Oman Cricket. 

Mazoon Dairy

Established in 2015, Mazoon Dairy is the largest integrated dairy company in the Sultanate of Oman with a capital outlay of OMR 100 million (Omani Rial).

In February 2022, Mazoon Dairy signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Oman Cricket. 

Majees

In September 2022, Majees, an Oman-based leading engineering company, signed a partnership agreement with Oman Cricket.

As per the deal, Majees acts as one of the leading sponsors of the Oman U19 men’s national cricket team. 

Omtex

Founded in 1969, Omtex is an Indian sportswear manufacturing company specialising in high-quality apparels and sports equipment.

In 2023, Omtex joined forces with Oman Cricket to become the official kit supplier of its national teams.

Credit Oman

Credit Oman is a Muscat-based leading credit insurer owned fully by the government.

In February 2023, Credit Oman was roped in by Oman Cricket as the sponsors of the country’s, C, D, and E Division leagues for the 2022/23 season.

Khimji Ramdas

Khimji Ramdas is one of the most prominent Indian-origin business groups in Oman. The company focuses on consumer products, lifestyle, infrastructure, and project and logistics services. 

Al Ansari

Al Ansari Exchange, also a family-owned business, is a leading exchange company in the UAE with the largest branch network.

Al Ansari has been serving as an official sponsor of Oman Cricket since March 2023. 

Autorent

Autorent is a leading car rental and leasing company headquartered in Dubai.

In March 2023, Autorent came on board the Oman Cricket sponsorship roster.
