On Day 13 of the 2024 Paris Olympics, records tumbled as Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone of the USA broke the world record in the Women’s 400m Hurdles event with a timing of 50.34 seconds.
Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo won the Men’s 200m final with a timing of 19.46 seconds to secure his first gold medal at the Olympics. This is also the first-ever Olympic gold for his country.
