China national football team sponsors 2023

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across the China men’s and/or women’s national football teams’ physical and digital assets as sponsors and partners of the Chinese Football Association.

Nike

Nike is an American multinational company that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing and marketing of footwear and sportswear apparel. It is the world’s largest footwear and apparel supplier, and only second to Adidas when looked at sportswear products.

In January 2015, Nike and the CFA signed a 12-year partnership deal, with the former becoming the official kit supplier of all Chinese national football teams, including the men’s, women’s and youth teams. Reportedly worth around US$16 million annually, this deal made Nike the official match ball supplier for the Chinese Super League.

Ping An

Founded in 1988, Ping An Insurance Company of China, also known as Ping An of China, is a Chinese holding conglomerate whose subsidiaries provide insurance, banking, asset management, financial and healthcare services. Headquartered in Shenzhen, Ping An is one of the largest financial services companies in the world, with over 218 million retail customers. 

Ping An and the CFA first announced the signing of a sponsorship deal in 2014 for a period of four years. Since then, the deal has been extended twice, the current deal being reportedly worth CNY 1 billion (Chinese Yuan) per year and set to run until 2026.

As per the terms of the deal, Ping An is the official title sponsor of the Chinese Super League as well as the official financial sponsor of the China men’s national football team. 

CR Beverage

CR Beverage, or China Resources C’estbon Food & Beverage, is a Chinese beverage company that is part of the China Resources Group. Founded in 1990, it is one of the leading beverage companies in China.

In February 2022, CR Beverages and the CFA agreed to signing a five-year sponsorship deal, with the former taking over the title sponsorship of the Chinese Women’s Super League. The deal is reportedly worth around CNY 500 million. 

Mengniu

Founded in 1999, Mengniu is a Chinese manufacturing and distribution company of dairy products and ice cream. Headquartered in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, Mengniu has quickly become one of the leading dairy companies in China. 

Mengniu and the CFA first signed a sponsorship deal in 2018, reportedly worth CNY 100 million annually, for four years. As per the deal, Mengniu serves as the official dairy partner to the CFA.

Air Goal Sports

Air Goal Sports (AGS) is a Shenzhen-based Chinese company founded in 1992 that specialises in the production of inflatable sports equipment. 

In February 2023, Air Goal Sports and the Chinese Football Association announced a three-year deal reportedly worth CNY 50 million annually. As per the deal, Air Goal Sports serves as the official inflatable sports equipment partner to the CFA and has the right to use the CFA’s logo and trademarks in its materials materials, while also holding the rights to sponsor various CFA events. 

Xiaoqin

Founded in 2015, Xiaoqin Technology is a Chinese company that specialises in the development and production of smart home products. It offers a wide product range that includes smart speakers, smart thermostats, smart light bulbs and smart security cameras. 

In February 2022, Xiaoqin and the CFA announced a three-year partnership deal reportedly worth around CNY 100 million annually.  

Olay Pharma

Founded in 1989, Shenzhen-based Chinese pharmaceutical company Olay Pharma specialises in the production of skincare products.

In February 2023, Olay pharma and the CFA announced the signing of a three-year sponsorship deal reportedly worth CNY 50 million annually. As per the deal, Olay Pharma is to serve the CFA as its official skincare partner until 2026.
