888poker – The Gibraltar-based online poker cardroom signed a sponsorship deal with Suárez at the back of his scintillating performances during the 2013-14 season with Liverpool in the Premier League. NOTABLE CHARITY WORK
- In April 2014, as part of his role with Scremini Pérez, a Uruguayan charity aimed at supporting children suffering from cancer, Suárez donated 500 Christmas baskets to children at the Pereira Rossell hospital in Montevideo.
- In April 2016, he was brought to tears after meeting a young fan suffering phenylketonuria. He went on to dedicate his next goal to him and also launched a charity auction in December 2016, with all proceeds going towards phenylketonuria research.
- In October 2020, Suárez donated 1000 Big Macs as part of McDonald’s Uruguay Annual Charity Event. McDonald’s donated the money generated from the Big Macs sale to the Ronald McDonald House Association, an organisation that provides support to Uruguayan families and Liceo Impulso, a middle school in Montevideo.
