The partnership is set to get underway from July 2022.

LaLiga side Real Sociedad have revealed online car retailer Cazoo as their principal sponsor from the 2022/23 season onwards.

The multi-year partnership, which will start from July 1, 2022, will see Cazoo serve as the front-of-matchday-shirt-sponsor to the club. Cazoo will also gain access to Real Sociedad’s physical and digital assets.

Alex Chesterman, Founder and CEO, Cazoo, commented:

We are very excited to be partnering with Real Sociedad. Just like us, they are a very ambitious club driven by results and have a passionate following and fan base across Spain and we are looking forward to engaging with the fans and local community and delivering the best car buying experience in Spain in 2022.

Jokin Aperribay, Real Sociedad Club President, added:

We are looking forward to partnering with Cazoo next season. They have ambitious and exciting plans to continue growing in our market. We are pleased to be able to help Cazoo be close to our fans and make them aware of their innovative formula that is making them so successful.

The Real Sociedad deal grows Cazoo’s sports sponsorship portfolio, which already has Premier League sides Everton and Aston Villa. The online car retailer also recently partnered with DP World Tour for the French Open.
