Red Bull Racing ink Arctic Wolf partnership

Cyber security company to join the F1 team from 2022.

Austrian Formula One team Red Bull Racing have announced a new partnership with cyber security company Arctic Wolf. The US-based firm will become the team’s Official Cyber Security Partner, starting from the 2022 season.

Arctic Wolf will implement its category-defined cyber security products across the team’s technology and security infrastructure. Through the partnership, Arctic Wolf will make sure that mission critical data and operations necessary for Red Bull to achieve success on and off the track remain protected at all times, which will include monitoring of system and network activity 24/7 and 365 days a year, reducing potential exposure to computer systems at the Factory, Wind Tunnel, the Track and everywhere in between.

Speaking about the partnership, Team Principal and CEO, Red Bull Racing, stated:

Modern Formula 1 is driven by data almost as much as it is by the incredible athletes behind the wheel. With vast amounts of information being generated in the creation of Red Bull Racing Honda’s cars and being sent from the track to the factory, every day protecting the competitive edge we work so hard to achieve is crucially important. Our partnership with Arctic Wolf will further enhance our cyber security operations and keep our data safe.

Dan Larson, Chief Marketing Officer, Arctic Wolf, added:

Few businesses are as high-octane as Red Bull Racing Honda, and the racing team personifies the excitement and velocity of its global powerhouse brand.

Formula 1 racing is an amazingly complex operation, much like cyber security, and every element of the operation needs to be fine-tuned and integrated for peak performance. We are confident that Arctic Wolf and our operational approach to cyber security will help Red Bull Racing Honda end cyber risk.
