Sebastián Báez is an Argentine tennis player who was born on December 28, 2000, in Buenos Aires. Báez began playing tennis at an early age and became a professional in 2018. He earned his career-high ATP singles World No. 30 ranking on April 17, 2023.

In 2021, Báez won his first ATP Challenger title. Báez is the first-ever player to have won five ATP Challenger Tour championships in a single season. He made his senior professional tennis debut 2022 and has won eight ITF singles titles and one ITF doubles trophy so far.
