E-commerce giant eBay has been roped in as the Title Sponsor of the top-tier of professional women’s football in Italy: the Serie A Femminile.
The partnership is an extension of the pre-existing deal between eBay and the Italian Football Federation, which was signed in May 2022.
The Serie A Femminile 2023/24 season gets underway from September 16 and will last till May 2024. eBay also has partnerships in place with Italian heavyweight clubs like FC Inter Milan, AC Milan and SSC Napoli.

Gabriele Gravina, President of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), commented:
“We announce an extraordinary collaboration for the world of football as a whole because it is based on the sharing of a path of values and training as well as on the recognition of the role of women in our world which, after the experimentation of the last championship, now takes on an even wider dimension. Thanks to eBay, this will be the season of the definitive consecration of the professional Women’s Serie A.“
