TIM – The Rome-headquartered Italian telecom company serves as the title sponsor to the Italian first division, because of which it is called Serie A TIM.
TIM and Lega Serie A have been partners since 1998. The two last renewed their partnership in July 2018 to run until the end of the 2020-21 season in a deal reportedly worth €15 million per year.
Apart from Serie A, TIM also sponsors the youth (Primavera) competitions which are organised by Lega Serie A, the governing body that organises top flight football in Italy.
Panini – Modena-based Italian publishing company Panini is a long-term sponsor of Serie A.
The Panini Group and football go back a long way. For many decades, Panini has created trading cards based around football players, making “Panini” a very common word among many football-mad households.
Panini’s partnership with Serie A gives the company image rights to the league players to feature in its trading cards collection. Panini also enjoys a strong branding presence across Serie A’s physical and digital assets.
Nike – The American sports equipment giant has been an official sponsor of Serie A since 2007.
As per the sponsorship, Nike provides the official match ball for every competition organised under the umbrella of Lega Serie A. Every Serie A club is consequentially provided with Nike balls with which they train and use during matchdays.
Coca-Cola – The American beverages giant first partnered up with Lega Serie A back in December 2019 when it became the title sponsor of the Italian Super Cup (Supercoppa Italiana). Since then, it has gone on to become the title sponsor of Coppa Italia and an Official Partner of Serie A.
The Lega Serie A partnership grants Coca-Cola a strong branding presence across the league’s physical and digital assets.
PlayStation 5 – Last month, Sony’s latest gaming console series, the PlayStation 5 (PS5), was announced as the title sponsor for the 2020-21 Supercoppa Italiana, which is thusly called the PS5 Supercup and is currently scheduled on January 20 later this month at the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Yabo Sport – The betting company was announced as Serie A’s International Presenting Sponsor in Asia in March 2019.
Brokered by the London-headquartered Interregional Sports Group, the sponsorship deal grants Yabo branding exposure during Serie A’s live matches broadcast in Asia.
