Sony acquires TV and digital rights for the Indian Football League 2025/26 season

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has announced that they have acquired the television and digital rights for the Indian Football League (IFL)  2025/26 season. The IFL, which was previously known as the I-League, will be broadcasted live on Sony’s channels. With the addition of the IFL, SPNI now has the Indian Super League, Indian Football League, Durand Cup, UEFA EURO 2028, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Nations League, Bundesliga, FA Cup amongst others in their football portfolio. 

Rajesh Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer and Business Head, Sports and International, Sony Pictures Networks India, commented,

With this acquisition, we are further strengthening our football offering and building a more complete ecosystem for fans in India, one that spans the biggest international stages as well as the heart of the domestic game.”
