Tottenham Hotspur agreed a five-year partnership with UK-based online used-car retailer cinch earlier this month.
The deal makes cinch the first-ever sleeve sponsor of Tottenham; the Lilywhites had been without a sleeve sponsor since the introduction of sleeve sponsorship in the Premier League in the 2017-18 season. Owned by Constellation Automotive Group, cinch will have its logo emblazoned on the matchday kits’ left sleeves of the club’s both men’s and women’s teams.
Apart from the sleeve sponsorship, cinch will receive rights for in-ground advertising at the club’s new home ground, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The two parties will also be working on several co-branded digital marketing campaigns.
Tottenham’s head of partnership development Nick Hoyle said: “Cinch is such an innovative brand and their customer first approach is well aligned with our own commitment of delivering an unrivalled experience for our fans. We look forward to working with Cinch and introducing their brand to our supporters.”
Chairman of Constellation Automotive Group Avril Palmer-Baunack said: “We’re delighted to have agreed this fantastic multi-year partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, which will support Cinch in its journey to become the brand of choice when it comes to buying a used car.”
Spurs currently lie 5th in the Premier League; four points off Manchester United at the top.
