Following are the companies and organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to Big Bash League franchise, the Sydney Sixers, and enjoy a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets.

BBL PRINCIPAL PARTNER
The Perth-headquartered Australian internet service provider was the Sixers’ first-ever Principal Partner when it signed with them back in November 2013. Its logo has featured on the front of the Sixers’ playing shirts ever since.
The last renewal between the two parties was announced in September 2021, with iiNet also signing on to become an Official Partner of the Sixers’ women’s team.
Apart from branding rights, the partnership also entails “member and fan engagement activities”.
The Itami, Hyogo-headquartered Japanese tyre brand was announced as the Major Partner of the Sixers in November 2017 ahead of the 2017-18 BBL season. Since then, the Toyo Tires logo has featured on the team’s matchday shirt (chest sponsor) and trousers. The partnership also entails co-branded fan competitions, with Toyo Tires also supporting “local cricket clubs and associations with financial grants and player clinics”.
The last renewal of the partnership between the two parties was announced in October 2020.
WBBL PRINCIPAL PARTNER
humm is a “buy now, pay later” platform of hummgroup, a Sydney-based Australian financial services provider that serves as the Principal Partner to the Sixers’ womens’ team since October 2020. The deal sees the humm logo feature on the front and back of the WBBL-playing team’s matchday shirts.
The two parties last renewed their partnership in September 2021 to also include the Sixers’ men’s team. The renewed deal sees humm’s logo also feature on the matchday-shirt sleeves and headwear of the franchise’s BBL-playing team.
Transport for NSW (What’s Your Plan B)
Transport for NSW is the transport and roads agency of the New South Wales Government that also serves as a Community Partner to the Sixers due to its partnership with Cricket NSW (the governing body of cricket in the Australian state of New South Wales).
The partnership is primarily focused on Transport for NSW’s What’s Your Plan B campaign, which is aimed at encouraging NSW’s population to find an alternative to driving themselves when going out for drinks.
In October 2020, Cricket NSW signed a two-year deal with the NSW Office of Responsible Gambling, an organisation that aims to deal with the problem of gambling addiction within the Australian state of New South Wales. As per the partnership, major cricket teams (along with the free-to-air TV broadcasts of their matches) falling under the ambit of Cricket NSW have pledged to not feature sponsorships or ads of any betting and/or gambling companies.
Thus, both Sydney WBBL/BBL franchises, the Sydney Thunder and the Sydney Sixers, have GambleAware as a Community Partner.
On its website, Sydney Water is described as “Australia’s largest water utility, providing water, wastewater, recycled water and some stormwater services to Greater Sydney”. It has served as the Hydration Partner to the Sixers since September 2015. Apart from branding rights, the partnership is focused on showcasing the benefits of drinking tap water via co-branded “community education and engagement” initiatives.
OFFICIAL BEER PARTNER
The Gage Roads Brewing Company
The Perth, Western Australia-headquartered craft brewery was announced as the Official Beer Partner of the Sixers in September 2021 (alongside Cricket NSW and NSW Premier Cricket) on a two-year deal.
Apart from branding rights, the deal grants Gage Roads pouring rights at all Sixers events.
FLEET LEASING AND MANAGEMENT PARTNER
Summit Fleet is a Rydalmere, New South Wales-headquartered Australian company that is majority owned by the Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Company and provides mobility solutions, primarily including vehicle leasing and fleet management.
The Hunter Region, New South Wales-based Australian winery has been the Official Wine Partner of the Sixers since December 2013. Apart from branding rights, the deal also includes pouring rights for Brokenwood for all Sixers events.
You Can is a youth cancer initiative of Sony Foundation Australia, an East Sydney, NSW-based charity organisation. It has served the Sixers as their Charity Partner since the early days of the franchise’s existence in the last decade.
Apart from branding rights, the Sixers support the You Can cause by encouraging their fans to donate to the charity, raise awareness regarding cancer among the young people, and conducting community events.
Charter Hall’s sponsorship of the Sydney Sixers is part of the Sydney-based property investment management company’s two-year deal with Cricket NSW, which primarily focuses on supporting women’s cricket and was announced in December 2021.
