Sydney Sixers Sponsors 2023/24

Following are the organisations serving as sponsors and brand partners to Big Bash League (BBL) franchise Sydney Sixers and enjoying a strong branding presence across the physical and digital assets of their women’s and/or men’s teams, who are participating in the Weber Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) and the KFC Big Bash League, respectively, during the 2023/24 season of the Big Bash.

Sydney Sixers Sponsors 2023/24

Belong

The Sixers announced in September 2023 a three-year partnership agreement with telecommunication provider Belong, on-boarding it as a Principal Partner.

The deal puts the Belong logo front and centre of Sixers matchday shirt of both their men’s and women’s sides.

Toyo Tires

Australian tyre firm Toyo Tires signed a partnership agreement with the Sixers in November 2017.

As a Major Partner of the Sixers, Toyo Tires sees its branding feature on the front of the shirts and trousers of both the men’s and women’s teams of the franchise, while also enjoying activations at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Toyo Tires and the Sixers also work together on a host of fan engagement activities. 

SIXT

SIXT and the Sixers teamed up in December 2021 on a three-year deal, when the car rental firm joined as the franchise’s Official Car Rental Partner.

SIXT currently serves as a Community Partner of the Sixers and works with them on matchday partnerships along with other fan engagement activities. 

NSW Government

Transport for NSW is the transport and roads agency of the New South Wales Government that also serves as a Community Partner to the Sixers due to its partnership with Cricket NSW (the governing body of cricket in the Australian state of New South Wales).

The partnership is primarily focused on Transport for NSW’s “What’s Your Plan B” campaign, which is aimed at encouraging NSW’s population to find an alternative to driving themselves when going out for drinks.

Sydney Water

Water industry firm Sydney Water became the Sixers’ Official Hydration Partner in September 2015.

The partnership has Sydney Water providing Sydney’s tap water to the fans at the SCG along with collaborating with the franchise on a host of other activations.

The Sixers also work with Sydney Water to educate the public about how the city’s tap water is the most healthy, affordable and sustainable choice for Sydneysiders and sportspeople alike. 

GambleAware

In October 2020, the Sydney Sixers on-boarded Gamble Aware as a Community Partner.

The partnership ensures the Sixers don’t have any agreements with sports betting or gambling businesses, while GambleAware works towards raising awareness about gambling-related harm.

This partnership was renewed for a further two years in October 2022.

Charter Hall

Property investment management firm Charter Hall joined the Sydney Sixers as an Official Partner in December 2021 on a two-year deal. The deal was a part of Charter Hall’s partnership with Cricket NSW and mainly focused on supporting the women’s teams in the region. 

The two parties decided to extend their partnership in April 2023.

Gage Roads Brew Co

Gage Roads Brewing Company, a craft brewery based in Perth, signed a partnership agreement with Cricket New South Wales, the Sydney Sixers and NSW Premier Cricket in September 2021.

The two-year deal sees Gage Roads Brew Co serve as the franchise’s Official Beer Partner and enjoy exclusive pouring rights at all Sixers events. 

The two parties decided in September 2023 to extend their agreement for a further three years.

Summit

Made-in-Alberta fleet management company Summit Fleet Leasing and Management currently serves as the Sixers’ Fleet Leasing and Management Partner.

Summit is owned by the Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Service Company and provides mobility solutions, primarily including vehicle leasing and fleet management. 

Lite n’ Easy

In November 2023, the Sidney Sixers announced a partnership agreement with nutritional meal company Lite n’ Easy, bringing it on board as the Official Nutrition Partner of both their men’s and women’s teams.

Merlin

The Sydney Sixers on-boarded New South Wales-based safe and smart home access brand Merlin as an Official Partner for BBL|13 in December 2023.

As per the deal, the Merlin logo features on the back of the Sixers playing jersey.

Brokenwood

One of Australia’s finest wine labels and considered a must-visit in Hunter Valley, Brokenwood has been on-boarded by the Sixers as an Official Partner for the 2023/24 Big Bash season.

Sydney Sixers Sponsors 2022/23

Aware Super

In November 2022, the Sydney Sixers roped in Australian super funds Aware Super as their Principal Partner. The partnership sees Aware Super branding on the front and centre of the Sixers BBL team’s playing kit along with matchday signage at their homeground, the SCG. The Sixers and Aware Super also collaborate on various other fan engagement activities. 

Toyo Tires

Australian tyre firm, Toyo Firm signed a partnership agreement with the Sidney Sixers in November 2017. As a Major Partner, Toyo Tires has its branding present on the front of the BBL team’s shirt and on the trousers and also enjoys activations at the SCG. Toyo Tires and the Sixers also work together on a host of fan engagement competitions. 

humm

Buy now, pay later fintech firm humm was roped in as the Principal Partner of the Sixers’ WBBL team in October 2020 on a three-year partnership. The deal sees humm enjoy branding presence on the front of the team’s playing kit, LED signage, digital rights and at-match activations. 

Both parties extended and expanded their partnership in September 2021, which saw the deal include the Sixers’ BBL team as well, with humm branding present on the Sixers BBL shirt sleeves, cap and helmet. 

NSW Government

Transport for NSW is the transport and roads agency of the New South Wales Government that also serves as a Community Partner to the Sixers due to its partnership with Cricket NSW (the governing body of cricket in the Australian state of New South Wales).

Charter Hall

In December 2021, Charter Hall Group signed a two-year partnership with Cricket New South Wales. The partnership saw Charter Hall become an Official Partner of the Sydney Sixers BBL and WBBL team. 

The partnership is aimed at supporting women’s teams in the state and Charter Hall works with the Sixers on a host of activities.

Gage Roads

Craft brewery the Gage Roads Brewing Company, which is based in Perth, signed a partnership agreement with Cricket New South Wales, the Sydney Sixers and NSW Premier Cricket in September 2021. The two year deal sees Gage Roads Brew Co. serve as the team’s Official Beer Partner and enjoys exclusive pourage at all of the Sixers’ events.
