Christian Ignacio Garín Medone, nicknamed “Gago” and “Tatan”, is a top tennis player from Chile. His major achievements include winning the ATP Tour title at Houston in 2019 and the 2019 BMW Open. Since then, his endorsements have taken a flight, and Garín has been signing with multiple brands.

Garín has played with multiple racquet brands in his career. In 2018, he signed with Wilson. A year later, he signed with Wilson’s rival brand Head, and stayed with it for a while. From 2021 to 2022, Garín played with his HEAD Radical pro stock, which he used for several years. He then switched to a Wilson H22 Blade V8, but that didn’t last long. He also used Yonex Ezone 98 for a few matches, but at Houston ATP 250 in April 2022, he was again seen using a HEAD racquet.
Garín started his career with New Balance as his apparel and shoe sponsor but then signed with Adidas in 2019. In 2022, he signed an apparel deal with Emporio Armani’s EA7, which is the sporting collection by Emporio Armani.
The American grooming brand owned by Procter & Gamble signed Garín in 2019. As part of the deal, the Gillette logo appears on the Chilean’s playing-shirt sleeve.
An energy drink brand owned by Coca-Cola, Powerade signed Garín in 2019 and became the athlete’s official hydration sponsor. As part of the deal, the hydration brand also released energy drinks with the tennis athlete’s signature on the bottles.
Garín was with Adidas for the last few years, but in 2021 his contract expired. He then wore Fila Axilus 2 for his shoe-contract-less period. Eventually, he signed with Nike in early 2022.
Financial institution Banco de Chile made Garín a brand ambassador soon after he won the ATP Houston in April 2019. Since May 2019, Garín has been a brand ambassador for Banco de Chile and supports its ventures.
During his Wimbledon 2022 tour, Garín promoted French skincare brand La Roche-Posay. He also posted about using the brand for his games and personal use on his social media.
After his success in 2019, brands were expected to endorse Garín. So athlete management company GSE Worldwide signed the Chilean and has been representing him on all platforms. The company added Garín to its website for brands to contact or discuss terms.
