U Mumba Sponsors 2021-2022

One of the most consistent and successful teams of the Pro Kabaddi League, U Mumba took the PKL title in 2015 and have finished second on three separate occasions.

As one of the most consistent teams of the league, U Mumba have never finished a season lower than fourth. Heading into the eighth season of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Fazel Atrachali-led team will hope to add a second title to their name.

Sansui


Japanese audio and video equipment manufacturer Sansui Electric was announced as the Title Sponsor of U Mumba ahead of the eighth season of Pro Kabaddi League. Apart from gaining access to the digital rights of the team, the Tokyo-headquartered company sees its logo placed in the front and centre of the U Mumba playing jersey.

 

Sleeve Sponsor and Nutrition Partner

Herbalife Nutrition


Global nutrition company Herbalife Nutrition is the Official Nutrition Partner and sleeve sponsor of the Mumbai team. The deal sees the Herbalife Nutrition logo placed on the left-hand sleeve of the U Mumba playing jersey along with the brand enjoying digital visibility across various media platforms.

 

Activewear Partner

Baller Athletik

Performance clothing brand Baller Athletik was signed on as the Official Activewear Partner of U Mumba in December 2021. The partnership sees U Mumba have their training and playing jerseys provided by Baller Athletik.

 

Associate Sponsor

Karbonn

Mobile phones and television sets manufacturer Karbonn was signed on as an Associate Sponsor for the Mumbai franchise in December 2021. The deal sees the Karbonn logo feature on the back of the U Mumba playing jersey along with collaboration for digital advertisements.

Macho Hint


Rupa Company’s (India’s largest knitwear company) brand Macho Hint was signed on as a sponsor for U Mumba in December 2021. The deal sees the Macho Hint logo feature on the back of the U Mumba jersey along with the brand receiving visibility on the PKL team’s social media platforms.

 

Official Knowledge Partner

upGrad


The Mumbai-headquartered Indian EdTech platform was announced as U Mumba's Official Knowledge Partner in
December 2021 in a deal covering PKL Season 8. Indian entrepreneur Ronnie Screwvala, who is one of the
Founders of upGrad, also owns U Mumba via Unilazer Ventures.

 

Superfan Partner

Puma

In December 2021, U Mumba announced sportswear and accessories brand Puma as their Superfan Partner for the 2021/22 PKL season.

As per the deal, apart from branding rights, Puma works towards increasing fan engagement through the ‘Superfan’ contest on U Mumba’s social media, which sees Puma engage with the fans through various contests. The winners of the contests are rewarded with exclusive offers and Puma merchandise.

 

Associate Sponsor

Paras Desi Ghee

One of India’s largest dairy companies, Paras Dairy’s brand Paras Desi Ghee was unveiled as an Associate Sponsor of the U Mumba franchise in January 2022.

The partnership sees the Paras Dairy logo feature on the shoulder of the players’ jerseys.
