Viacom18 gets digital and television rights for BCCI home games

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed that Viacom18 has gained the media rights for all of its home international fixtures for a period of five years starting in September 2023 and ending in March 2028. 

The television rights and will reportedly cost Viacom18 around ?67.8 crore per game. The five-year media rights spend will come to ?5,963.4 crore approximately. 

Roger Binny, President of the BCCI, said:

The recent BCCI e-auction has unequivocally demonstrated the vigour of cricket in India.
