Indian cricketer Washington Sundar has been appointed as electronic company Anker’s brand ambassador in India. Washington Sundar will feature in the brand’s promotions through all digital outlets and will shortly star in his first promotional television commercial. Anker and Washington’s relationship would be managed by the latter’s production company, Whiteleaf Talent. Anker hopes to expand its current loyal client base and reach out to the millennials via this alliance.
Saina Nehwal, an Olympic medalist and elite badminton player was appointed the brand ambassador for Anker innovations in 2019. To facilitate Washington Sundar’s partnership with Anker, the company created a one-of-a-kind Social Media Banter between Saina and Sundar. The witty conversation resulted in the unveiling of the #PowerofDuo collaboration with Anker Group.

Anker Group’s objective is to establish a deep foothold in the Indian market through this strategy. The brand intends to expand its footprint around the nation over the next year.
