Aditya ChaudhuriLV BET joins as sponsor for the 2021/22 season.
Online casino operator and sports betting firm LV BET has tied up with the EFL Championship side West Bromwich Albion on a yearlong deal that will see LV BET actively promote responsible gambling and create a ‘fans-first’ strategy to communicate with the West Brom fans throughout the season via various campaigns and competitions where fans will be able to win merchandise or gain match day experiences. LV BET will also have access to digital and matchday coverage rights throughout the season as it strives to build a strong portfolio in football sponsorship.
LV BET operates throughout Europe, but the tie-up with West Brom is its very first sponsorship deal in the United Kingdom. Recently, LV BET was a partner at the Euro 2020 and has signed on former Irish footballer, Jason McAteer, as its brand ambassador. LV BET also has various pre-event and in-play markets that fans can choose from the LV BET app.
Speaking about the tie up, LV BET CMO, Marcin Jablonski, said, “We’re thrilled to partner with West Bromwich Albion this season. As well as growing our brand presence in the UK, the Club has a very strong and engaged fan base that we’re keen to deliver significant value to.”
West Brom’s COO, Simon King, also spoke about the club’s delight to tie up with the firm, stating: “LV BET have demonstrated a history of sponsorship in football to date but have yet to partner with a UK Club. We’re delighted that we were able to showcase the Albion as being the perfect candidate to meet this requirement. We understand how important it is to ensure we promote responsible gambling and we’re happy that our new partner shares this value. As well as this, we’ll also be working hard to ensure our supporters benefit from this relationship through the release of unique content and special prizes to be won throughout the season.”
LV BET has previously sponsored the German National Ice Hockey Team and Deutsche Eishockey League squad Kölner Haie. It is also the main sponsor of Wisla Krakow and European Volleyball Championship. The betting firm also sponsors the fifth division football league in England, called the Vanarama National League.
