England looking to go 2-0 up while the hosts look to bounce back
It was the Phil Salt show in the first T20I as England eased to a chase of 183 and now its the hosts on the backfoot as they look to bounce back in the five-match T20I series.

The hosts had elected to bat first in the previous game and were put in a spot of both with Saqib Mahmood and Adil Rashid having West Indies reeling at 69/5 before lower order runs from Andre Russell, Romario Shepherd and Gudakesh Motie propelled the hosts to a respectable 182. It was a questionable approach from the Windies though, trying to smash everything and Nicholas Pooran will be asking his batters to quickly turn things around while his bowlers, who had no answer to the Salt-assault, will look to quickly regroup as well.
Saqib Mahmood and Adil Rashid were the chief wreckers with the ball for England as they picked up seven wickets between themselves and while it was a strong start with the ball for England, they know that they let West Indies off the hook, letting the hosts get to 182 after being 69-5. With the bat for the visitors early, chasing 183, even though they lost Will Jacks and captain Jos Buttler, it made no difference to Phil Salt as they went about his business, demolishing the West Indies attack. Getting some stable support from the young Jacob Bethell, Salt powered England’s chase home, with the visitors easing to an 8-wicket win.
Count on England to come out on top in Bridgetown once again with the visitors being a different beast in T20s altogether.
