Wolves tie up with AstroPay

Payment firm joins onboard as official club sponsor.

Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers announced their partnership with global payment firm AstroPay on Thursday, with the payment firm joining as an official club sponsor for the 2021/22 season.

The deal sees AstroPay get pitch-side LED advertising at Wolves’ home stadium Molineux and get promotion on mid-tier static advertising boards in the stadium as well. Along with these, the payment firm’s branding will also be featured on the media backdrops during pre- and post-match interviews.

Founded in 2009, AstroPay has grown and spread throughout Latin America, Asia, Africa and Europe. As a pioneer in global payment solutions, AstroPay helps customers worldwide with the online purchases on international sites and helps merchants access the markets in an easy and swift manner. With current offices in the UK and Latin America, AstroPay currently has more than two million users, 500 merchants and over 200 payment methods available worldwide.

Speaking about the deal, Wolves’ Marketing and Commercial growth’s General Manager Russell Jones said, “We are excited to work alongside AstroPay as we welcome them into our pack ahead of what promises to be a really exciting new Premier League season. It is evident that AstroPay share our ambitious mindset as they push for growth across Latin America and Asia, and we believe this collaboration will be of great benefit to both partners.”
