Crystal Palace inks new multi-year deal with Aurora Utilities
English football club Crystal Palace FC has announced a new multi-year partnership agreement with Aurora Utilities, who have joined the club as their Official Grid Connection Partner. The partnership will see Aurora Utilities have branding at Crystal Palace’s home ground, Selhurst Park across the LED screens and other stadium assets. Aurora Utilities and Crystal Palace will work together on providing fans with matchday offerings and also at events held in Selhurst Park.
Robin Campbell, Head of Sponsorship at Crystal Palace, commented,
“We’re delighted to welcome Aurora Utilities to Crystal Palace. They are an ambitious business operating in an increasingly important part of the UK’s infrastructure. This partnership is about much more than brand visibility. Selhurst Park provides a fantastic setting for Aurora to bring together clients, partners and stakeholders, both on matchdays and through events across the year. We’re looking forward to working closely with Aurora and building a successful partnership over the coming seasons.”
Simon Reilly, CEO of Aurora Utilities, added,
“We’re proud to become Crystal Palace’s Official Grid Connection Partner. For many infrastructure projects, the grid connection is the critical path: without confidence over available capacity and the route to a grid connection, projects cannot move forward as planned. The role of an Independent Distribution Network Operator is not only to help deliver the connection, but to own and operate the local network safely and reliably for the long term.”
