Alfa Romeo net Seagate partnership

Swiss Formula One team Alfa Romeo have announced a new partnership with Seagate Technology. The partnership will see Seagate become the team’s Official Object Storage Service Partner.
The deal sees Seagate Lyve Cloud provide the team with data privacy, no vendor lock-in, no API charges and no egress fees which will allow Alfa Romeo to have full control over their data as they can lower the barriers for storing, moving and activating data at scale. The Seagate Lyve Cloud branding will also be present on the headrest of the Alfa Romeo race cars.

Ravi Naik, Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President of Storage Services at Seagate Technology, added:
“Seagate is excited to be a strong partner of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN to future-proof its storage environment.
