Astro renews Premier League deal

Malaysian in-house subscription satellite television network Astro has renewed its partnership with the Premier League to broadcast the games in Malaysia till the end of the 2024/25 season.
The new broadcast deal will see Astro continue to telecast Premier League—which it has done since 1997—providing the Malayasians fans with all of the 380 matches in HD and select matches in 4K UHD. The renewal was announced during Astro’s ‘More Sports, More Drama, More Thrills’ campaign, which offers fans the Sports Pack that includes full coverage of the biggest sporting events in 2022: the FIFA World Cup 2022, the 2022 Asian Games, the SEA Games and many more.

Euan Smith, Astro’s Group COO and CEO of TV, commented:
