Craig Tiley, Chief Executive, Tennis Australia, commented:

We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Marriott Bonvoy. Just as we strive to create unforgettable moments for our fans by showcasing the world’s best throughout the Summer of Tennis across Australia, Marriott Bonvoy delivers exceptional experiences for their guests through a world-class range of hotels. We’re excited to bring even more innovative and unique experiences to life as our collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy grows.

Jason Nuell, Area Vice President – Australia, New Zealand & Pacific of Marriott International, added:

Marriott Bonvoy is proud to join with Tennis Australia to host the world’s top tennis talent, their support teams and extensive fan base over Australia’s Summer of Tennis. Our strategic partnership will continue to deliver our members and guests extraordinary sporting experiences to enjoy alongside our world class accommodations connecting people from all over the world as the spotlight shines on Australia.

The power of the Tennis Australia partnership in 2024 saw our member penetration rise from approximately 50 per cent to over 70 per cent during the tournament. We operated at high occupancy throughout the tournament and are currently pacing in line with last year. We also achieved an increase in revenue per available room year on year. Over 14 million Marriott Bonvoy points were burnt during the tournament, highlighting the interest from our global and local members in the experiences we curate as part of the partnership programming.
