The Boston Celtics have roped in Gulf Oil as their Official Fuel Partner on a multi-year deal.

The deal will see the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based company gain LED signage as well as centre-hung scoreboard messaging visibility at the TD Garden along with visibility on various marketing assets of the 17-time NBA champions.

Gulf Oil will use digital Celtics platforms to provide their fans with various offers. It will also be supporting five youth athletes as part of the deal from the Greater Boston area by funding their enrolment fee for a week at the Jr Celtics Academy summer camp.

Nikki Fales, Vice President of Marketing & Payments, Gulf Oil, said:

Gulf and the Celtics are two organisations with rich history in the Boston area. We are excited to continue our partnership with such a successful franchise and to support the fans and youth throughout the Greater Boston community.

Ted Dalton, Chief Partnership Officer, Boston Celtics, added:

We are excited to extend our partnership with Gulf, a great Boston-based company. We’re also thrilled about Gulf’s support of our Jr. Celtics Academy (JCA) programming, where through their generosity, Gulf will provide opportunities during each summer of the partnership for underprivileged children to participate in our JCA summer camps.
