Botic van de Zandschulp: Sponsorship Deals | Brand endorsements

Botic van de Zandschulp is a Dutch professional tennis player born on October 4, 1995. He turned pro in 2013 and has a career-high ATP Singles ranking of World No. 22, which he attained on August 29, 2022. He is now the top male singles player in the Netherlands, with his net worth estimated to be between US$1.5 million and US$1.7 million.

In Hamburg and Alphen, Van de Zandschulp won the ATP Challenger singles and doubles championships, respectively. He scripted history at the 2021 US Open when he became just the third qualifier in the tournament’s history to advance to the quarterfinals. He is also just the third person ever to have qualified for all four major tournaments in a single year.

Van de Zandschulp was defeated by fellow qualifier Carlos Alcaraz at the 2021 Australian Open, after he become the first player to qualify for the main singles draw of a Grand Slam competition. He also earned a spot in the second major in 2021 and earned his first career Grand Slam victory at the French Open by making it to the second round. At the Indian Wells Masters, he qualified as the top seed into the main draw, making his debut at the Masters 1000 level. In the Maharashtra Open, Van de Zandschulp began his 2023 campaign and advanced to the semifinals.

The Indian Maharadja

Van de Zandschulp signed up with The Indian Maharadja in February 2022. He represents the brand by donning its gear on the court as part of the partnership.

The Indian Maharadja is a Nieuwkuijk, North Brabant-based Dutch company renowned for its hockey sticks, bags and clothing.

Van de Zandschulp was previously sponsored by French brand Lacoste — a contract that expired at the end of 2021. 

Babolat

Since 2019, Van de Zandschulp has had a racquet contract in place with Babolat. He currently prefers the Babolat Pure Aero.

Babolat is a French manufacturer of tennis, badminton and padel equipment with headquarters in Lyon.

Ziggo Sport

In the Netherlands, Ziggo Sport is a free-to-cable sports channel that is run by Ziggo and owned by VodafoneZiggo. It focuses on significant athletic events while broadcasting a range of sports.

In February 2022, Van de Zandschulp revealed his collaboration with Ziggo Sport by donning its logo on his sleeves.

Asics

Since 2021, Van de Zandschulp has been sporting Asics footwear on the court and is frequently pictured wearing the same across his social media channels.

Asics is a global Japanese company that produces and sells sportswear. Its goods include footwear, clothing and accessories. 

Knaken

With its main office in Rotterdam, Knaken is an online cryptocurrency exchange. In April 2022, Van de Zandschulp announced his collaboration with the company via instagram.

Lagaranta

Van de Zandschulp is also sponsored by Lagaranta, a Den Haag-based Dutch coffee company that claims to offer performance-enhancing coffee products of the finest calibre.
