China Open finds new partner in HSBC

The China Open has announced a new partnership with the HSBC Group which will see the British universal bank and financial services group become the Presenting Partner of the China Open from the 2026 edition onwards. HSBC will work towards growing the tournament and making it a leading event on the international tennis calendar.

The China Open is a hardcourt tennis event which takes place in Beijing, China and is organised by the Chinese Tennis Association. The China Open is a WTA 1000 event on the WTA Tour and an ATP 500 event on the ATP Tour. The China Open 2026 edition will take place between September 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 and will be the 20th edition of the China Open. Jannik Sinner won the men’s edition in 2025 while Amanda Anisimova was the women’s champion in 2025.

Feng Jian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal People Government, commented,
