Brand Associations

Spartan – After having a sponsorship deal with Gray-Nicholls for almost a decade, David Warner was seen using a Spartan bat after his comeback to the game.


Asics –
The former Australian Captain was in a sponsorship deal with Sporting brand Asics, but the company had the deal terminated when the player was banned for 12 months for ball-tampering.

LG – David Warner was in a sponsorship deal with LG’s electronic appliance manufacturing company since 2014 and was their Brand, Ambassador. LG, too decided, however, not to renew their contract with the player after the ball-tampering incident in 2018.

Nine Network  – After the former Australian skipper got banned from playing, the Nine network decided to hire him as their commentator as they had a brilliant relationship with him over the years. This decision saw many disagreements around the TV network, but they decided to stand for it.

KFC – Cricket Australia partners KFC also had an association with the former Captain, who has done a few commercials for it.


Toyota –
The Australian was also a brand Ambassador for the Japanese Car making company but got his contract terminated after his ban.

Notable Charity

  • Warner and his wife Candice launched the ‘GoldTelethon’ campaign in 2015 to promote the improvement of young patients and ensured proper care of seriously sick and disabled children at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.
  • In October 2019, David Warner contributed all of the money he earned from Twenty20I to Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation. He gave $500 to the charity, which would help children that are afflicted with an illness that necessitates a large amount of money to be treated.
  • In 2015, Warner was among authors who helped kids with cancer. His book ‘The Kaboom Kid’ was one of three included in the February KOALA Kids book club. The book club is intended to motivate and educate children who are seeking long-term cancer care at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Centres.
