Leading competitive games and esports firm ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) has announced that it will be expanding the viewing experiences for its fans around the world by making its content available on both Twitch and YouTube. The announcement means EFG has extended its global, non-exclusive media rights agreement with Twitch, while having also expanded its services to YouTube.

EFG has announced that the English stream will be available on its official Twitch channel, while global streams and non-English streams will be available via co-stream partners. EFG will also let fans engage with the live content on YouTube and Twitch, with the firm hoping to grow its presence on YouTube especially.

The Twitch and YouTube live broadcasts of EFG’s properties include:

  • ESL Pro Tour for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: Twitch | YouTube
  • ESL Impact: Twitch | YouTube channel to be launched soon
  • Snapdragon Pro Series: Twitch | YouTube
  • Dota 2: Twitch | YouTube
  • ESL Pro Tour for StarCraft II: Twitch | YouTube
  • ESL R1: Twitch | YouTube

Mark Cohen, Chief Relationship Officer and SVP of Brand & Media Partnerships at EFG, commented:

As we are creating worlds beyond gameplay, it is important to connect with the community where they are, be that on Twitch, YouTube, or any other platform. Live-streaming our events on our own broadcast channels across multiple platforms adds to  the reach our products have via our official Media Rights partners and allows us and our brand partners to grow and nurture the esports community and to better serve gaming enthusiasts worldwide. Building on our relationships with Twitch and YouTube, we have the opportunity to provide fans with a better viewing experience, and we are thrilled to have them on board on this journey.

The live streams on both platforms got underway with the ongoing IEM Katowice 2023, which started on February 1.
