Canadian Tennis professional, Félix Auger-Aliassime, has signed a multi-year contract with the German manufacturer, Adidas. Félix said, “My ambitions are high and I’m always pushing myself to go higher.” He further added, “As I continue to grow in the game and improve my performance, it’s so important to me that I work with people who share my philosophy for both the game and commitment to our communities, especially the grassroots sporting family. In joining forces with Adidas, I know that we can use our experiences to help others and share these moments with the outside world—to inspire the next generation of tennis players, and help the people and projects that are close to my heart.”
In 2015, at the age of 14, Félix became the youngest player in history to earn an ATP ranking point when he qualified for a Challenger Tour event in Drummondville, Canada. He then turned pro in 2017. In the same year, he joined forces with Nike and worked with the company for four years and now has switched to Adidas to start his new year afresh.
As a part of the deal, Félix will sport the trademark blue of Adidas at all events. He’ll wear the Adidas PimeBlue x HEAT.RDY tennis collection, next month in Australia. Félix will also wear the most recent model of the Adizero Ubersonic 4 shoes.
Celine Del Genes, Global VP-General Manager Specialist Sports at Adidas Global said, “impact Félix has already made, both within world-class tennis and using his platform to drive positive change, is hugely inspiring to us.” Adidas will support his “long-term goals to give back to the grassroots communities that formed such an important part of his early career and childhood.”
Along with the above brands Félix has also partnered with Watchmaker Tag Heuer and racquets manufacturer Babolat.
