French Football Federation renews contract with Orange

June 16, 2022

The French Football Federation has announced that it will renew its contract with telecommunications company Orange. The financial details of the four-year extension were not made public, though the previous deal, signed in 2018, was reportedly worth US$5.7 million. The Orange logo will remain on the training kits for both French men’s and women’s national teams until 2026.

Orange has retained its designation as one of the major partners of the French national team and will also spread its name across the FFF’s physical and digital inventory. The extended partnership will also see Orange continue to assist the FFF in providing digital education for young players, raising awareness of environmental and societal issues, as well as cyberbullying.

Commenting on the deal, Fabienne Dulac, Chief Executive of Orange France, said:

This renewed partnership reaffirms the close collaboration that we have maintained with the world of football for more than 20 years, and more specifically with the French Football Federation for four years.

It illustrates our ambition to be a committed and responsible operator, by carrying out preventive actions on the use of digital technology among young people. The collective and solidarity, values dear to Orange, are honoured by the success of the national men’s and women’s teams and make us particularly proud of this partnership.
